Is a relay required to Install Trailer Wiring Harness C56192 on a 2016 Acura MDX base model? not AWD

I spoke to my contact at Curt and he informed me that no additional relays should be needed with the # C56192 wiring harness. This is the confirmed wiring harness for your 2016 Acura MDX.
He also told me that you would want to ensure the supplied fuses are in the proper location. Also be sure that the ring terminal on the ground wire is touching bare metal on the body. However you will need to check with the dealer that the MDX’s computer does not need to be flashed to activate the towing harness.
If you don't already have a hitch installed on your MDX, I recommend the etrailer # e98840, I have also linked an installation video of this hitch being installed on your same MDX for you to check out.
