Question:

Hello, I have a 1993 Jayco popup camper. After reading the articles about identifying bearing numbers and spindle sizes Ive taken a look but cannot find a match. The bearings have no serial number or theyve worn off. I measured the diameter of the spindle with the following measurements as per the locations on chart on your site: A: 1.5 B: 1.5 C: 1.06 D: 1.06 E: ~.99 The axle is a Torflex with a capacity of 2000 lb according to the tag on the axle. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

The hub and bearing kit I recommend for your Jayco popup camper is part # AKIHUB-440-2-2K. This kit includes the idler hubs, bearings, races, seal, grease cap, and lug nuts. The hub has a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. The hub assembly kit you came from will not work with the spindle size you said you have on your trailer.

We also have tire/wheel combos that will work with this hub assembly. The combo I recommend is part # AM31208HWT. This is a 12-inch radial tire/wheel combo with an aluminum wheel. This combo has an 8-ply radial tire with a maximum load capacity of 1220-lbs at 65 psi.

If you want to buy the tires and wheels separately I recommend a wheel like part # AM20122. This is a white powder coated 12-inch wheel with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. I have attached a link to our product page for the wheels we offer with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern.

The tires I recommend are the Kenda Karrier S-Trail, part # AM10130. this is an 8-ply Load Range D tire with a maximum capacity of 1220-lbs at 65 psi.
