Question:

one of my friends gave me a yakima rocketbox without any keys. Im trying to find the key code like everyone else is able to but i dont see any way to remove the lock cylinder. The only info i can find is the serial number:YRB C52283. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you can find the code from the lock core in your Yakima Rocketbox you can order replacement keys like # Y8772-A147 which fits locks with code A147 stamped into the side of lock cylinder. If you cannot find the code then you can simply replace the lock using kit # Y07202. This kit includes 2 new lock cylinders and 2 new matching keys, along with the master control key that you can use to remove the old lock. Please refer to the linked video.
