Is it Possible to Go From Taller Lippert Landing Gear 33-1/2 to 29-1/2 inch Legs

Will it work to replace the 33 1/2 inch jack leg with the shorter 29 1/2 version? is the extra 4 inches all on the bottom and is the bracket spacing the same?

The bracket spacing between the two different size Lippert landing gear legs are not the same. The 33-1/2 inch legs have spacings of 19-1/2 and 21-1/2 inches whereas the shorter legs are 15-1/2 and 17-1/2 inches.
