Question:
I was just wondering if the 988501 cargo bag will fit into the Carpod Cargo Carrier Basket. You have a comparison on your website between this and the carpod bag but the measurements are quite a bit larger on this bag. Thanks

The bag that's meant to fit into the Carpod # M2200 cargo carrier is the # M2202. This bag has a 13-3/4 cubic foot capacity and measures 46x22x22. The etrailer extra large cargo bag, part # 988501 has a 20 cubic foot capacity and measures 59x24x24.
You could say the bag would fit in the # M2200 carrier, but it wouldn't fit very well. The walls of the carrier would prevent you from using the whole 20 cubic foot capacity of the carrier.
You can get the carrier and the bag together as part # M2200-01-02, but to use a larger bag like the # 988501, I'd recommend going with the Curt folding carrier, part # C18153. This option would provide much more capacity and be much less expensive than the # M2200-01-02.
