Adhesive Recommendation for Securing 1 inch Wide Tonneau Cover Velcro

My Dad has a 2005 Chevy Colorado 5 passenger pick up truck with a Tonneau Masters cover. The velcro on the truck bed has come loose. It is 1inch wide and was glued on, not in a channel. Will your 1inch loop work? What kind of glue should be used? Thanks
