I have a 2015 Honda Pilot EX-L and I would like to know if the C18153 will work to carry luggage and coolers, etc. on vacation? Also what locks, stabilizers and lights I will need. Thank you

The etrailer Cargo Carrier part # e98874 that you referenced would do a great job carrying extra cargo/luggage. It has a tray that measures 24 by 60 inches with a height of 5-1/2 inches.
It can also fold up when not in use. Check out the demo video I attached for more info.
For an anti-rattle lock for the hitch pin you would want the part # 63232 as well. I attached a review video for this as well.
