Question:

Are there key locks for these towers? Is there a special key for these to lock the fitting? I also would like new lock caps. This rack s installed on my canopy.

Yakima Control Towers, like the Replacement Control Tower for Factory-Installed Tracks # Y8890027 that you referenced, can be locked using Yakima's Same Key System (SKS) locks. These SKS lock cores are available in a number of different quantities, but in order to lock 4 Control Towers you will want 4 lock cores, # Y07204.

The SKS Lock Cores # Y07204 come with 2 keys to lock and unlock the cores, as well as 1 control key that is used when installing the lock core. There is not a cap that will be installed over the end of the lock core.

I have attached an installation video that will show you how to install the SKS lock core. The installation instructions are also attached for you.
