Question:
Hello, what is the distance in the folded position from the top of the basket to the receiving bolt? I want to make sure it will work on a 2016 santa fe xl the bumper is a little longer then the 2015 version I think.

When the etrailer Cargo carrier part # e98874 is folded up there is a distance of 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest rail of the carrier.
You would need to measure from the pin hole on your hitch out to the furthest point on your bumper to see if this would clear. If that distance is less than 9-1/2 inches you would have clearance.
When we installed the # 75776 on a 2016 Santa Fe we found it had 4-1/4 inches from the pin hole to the furthest point out on the rear bumper so this should fit and clear easy. See install video.
