Hi, I have a 2016 GMC with 58inch box and am purchasing a 2016 Crusader 295RST 5th wheel trailer. trailer weighs 9K with GVW of 11.6K Do I need the Demco 13K with 22 inch travel or are the hitches with 14 inch travel sufficient? What is recommended for under bed rails?

Since your 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 has a 5 foot 8 inch bed you would have to use the Demco Slider part # DM8550040 that can slide 22-1/2 inches. 14 inches of clearance would not be adequate. This hitch also has more than enough capacity for your trailer.
For a rail kit you would want the part # DM8552027-71 which is a custom install kit that will minimize drilling and install time.
