Question:
I purchased item# MCL11CAKB To install on my 2015 Ford F-250 truck on the lower front valance. I have 18 lights and hooked them up to the auxiliary switches that are original on the truck. The lights are not lighting, and I wanted to know if there is a load resistor that needs to be installed. I did connect them to one of the marker lights and they lit, but wanted to be able to turn them on and off independently.

I recommend double checking your wiring for the lights. A load resistor will not be needed since the # MCL11CAKB lights are not blinking. A load resistor is designed for use when an LED is hyperflashing when used as a turn signal.
You will want to run a wire from the positive terminal on the vehicle battery to the auxiliary switch, then from the switch to the first light, from the first light to the second lights, so on and so forth. The easiest way to connect all of the lights to a power wire is to run the wire, like # DW07550-1, to the furthest light and then splice all of the other lights into the single power wire.
To ground the lights, you can either ground each light individually or run all of the ground to the same ground. The ground needs to be on a clean spot of the vehicle frame or on the body, preferably where the sheet metal is doubled. You can use a self-tapping screw # FA1131822 and a ring terminal # DW05702-1 to ground each light.
