Recommended Cargo Carrier for a 2009 Dodge Caravan

Question:
I want a cargo carrier that will allow me to open the hatch on my 09 dodge caravan while the carrier is attached. What do you recommend?

The # 63153 cargo carrier does not have any vehicle specific fits, but you can determine whether or not you will be able to open the hatch with the cargo carrier installed by taking some simple measurements.
This cargo carrier measures 12-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright rail of the cargo carrier, and the platform of the carrier will be raised up 2-1/2 inches from the top of the hitch opening. If you measure out and up from your trailer hitch, this would give you a reference point to determine whether the gear you plan to carry on the platform will interfere with the door's opening radius.
If you could provide me with some more information on the items you will carry on the platform, I would be happy to make a suggestion for you.
