Question:

I would like to tow my 2008 solara, toyota on my car dolly . Will I be able to use my 2 bike tule bike carrier 2inch slide in bar. My forest river motor home is 30 feet long. The toyota , solara is 3,500 lbs, the bikes about 50 lbs, tule rack about 60 lbs.

The Curt multipurpose ball mount # D210 will work for towing the 2008 Toyota Solara on a tow dolly while using the top receiver portion to carry the bikes on a bike rack. The total tongue weight capacity of this ball mount is 750 pounds. The tongue weight of the tow dolly and the bikes/bike rack will not exceed 750 pounds so it will work.

But I have to tell you that only certain bike racks are rated for use at the back of an RV. None of the Thule racks are rated for this. I have included a link to the bike racks that are rated for use at the back of an RV. I recommend the Swagman XC # S64650, because it is cost efficient and holds the bikes at the wheels and frame making it compatible with many different bike styles.
