There are a few ways to find the right system for your trailer. The easiest is to look on the trailer axle for a sticker or plate that says what the capacity is. Then you can measure your brake drum to find the right size. I have attached a photo of a drum you can check out that shows where you need to measure.

Once you have the measurements for the brakes you need you can go to the attached product page and use the filters to find the brakes that will work for you.

If the insides of the drums have grooves worn in them or if the metal has a bluish cast indicating that the drum's been overheated, the drum will need to be replaced as well.

If you need to replace the drums as well, the best way is to pull a hub off your spindle and look for the numbers on the bearings and race. If you cannot find the numbers you can see the attached photo that shows where to measure your spindle for the places your bearings ride and also measure the inside of the hub. You'll also need to match your wheel bolt pattern. Also, you will need to match the brake mounting flange bolt pattern with the brakes you choose.
