Question:
When properly trailered my boat at 1/2inch between the hull and the inside of the trailer fender on both sides. my questions is: Can I install the rollers so that they are touching or close to it when the boat is in its final resting place on the trailer? The fenders are supposed to act as a guide but the boat wants to drift and settle on one fender or the other. I really need something to hold the stearn of the boat centered in between the fenders. I realize they are not weight bears so I assume that means I should leave 1/8inch to 1/4 inch of room between the rollers and the hull?

You are correct that the roller style guide-ons # CE27610 are not meant to support weight. But the boat brushing up against them is to be expected and they will work fine for that. A little bit of space like you said will help to make sure the boat isn't putting too much pressure on the guide-ons.
