Alternative Style Brake Controller Recommendation That Does Not Mount Near Knee Area

Question:
Hi, I just purchased a new vehicle, and im reluctant to mount a standard trailer brake controller. Most are clunky and get in the way, not to mention I dont really want to drill holes. Im looking for a brake controller that is small and/or does not require mounting on the dash/knee area. Can you recommend any low profile, or other novel solutions for brake controllers? thanks,
