How much do they run and is it necessary to replace the whole system.

If you are talking about a lift kit for a trailer then they are called over/under kits. There are 2 options. First we have # K71-384-00 for 2-3/8 inch diameter round axles. And second we have # K71-385-00 for 3 inch diameter round axles.
If neither will work then the other option to raise the height of the trailer is to use taller suspension hangers. I have included a link to our hanger main page for you. Current pricing for parts can be found on their respective product pages.
