We can help you get the parts you'll need to be able to safely and legally flat tow your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Hard Rock Edition behind your motorhome.

A great starting point is the comprehensive article I linked for you which explains each of the items needed and the options available. Those items include a tow bar, base plates, safety cables, braking system, wiring kit and often a high/low hitch adapter to keep the tow bar level.

Let's start with base plates for the Wrangler. I recommend the Blue Ox base plates # BX1134 because their removable arms use the handy twist-lock mechanism, rather than a pin that can get lost. With these you can use their excellent Alpha tow bar # BX7380 which I recommend since it includes the required safety cables. For a wiring solution for the Jeep lights use the custom-fit harness # HM56200 which will avoid the need to cut into your wiring or permanently modify the vehicle. This has a 4-pole flat connector but if you need to change that to suit what is on the MH then we also have those items as well, such as # BX8861.

The braking system I suggest is Blue Ox's wireless and portable Patriot # BLU37TR. You'll use 12V outlet kit # RM-9332 to provide power to it. The Patriot ensures that the brakes in your towed car are activated at the same time and with the same intensity that you apply to the brakes in your RV for controlled and less-stressful stops.

You may also need a high/low hitch adapter like # RM-076 to keep your hitched tow bar level, or at least within 3-inches above or below level. A link to all such adapters is provided.
