Take a look at part # 6495-401-04. This hook has a working load limit up to 5,400 lbs and the pin that connects through the chain is 7/16 of an inch in diameter.
The Curt Clevis Hook, # C81970, has a 40,000 lb weight capacity and the pin that connects through the chain is just over half of an inch (.52 inches) in diameter. This hook was designed for heavy-duty applications such as gooseneck trailers, but it may work with your trailer if the chains are large enough. The width of the opening on this hook are 1.33 inches.
If the chains are not large enough for this clevis hook, then I recommend using the Buyers Products 3/8" x 42" Class 4 Trailer Safety Chain with 1 Clevis Hook - 43 Proof # 337BSC3842, that you referenced. Any trailer shop or fabrication shop should be able to replace the safety chains fairly easily and inexpensively on your trailer.
