Is Trimming Needed When Installing Front-Mount Trailer Hitch On 2005 Ford Ranger XLT

Question:
Does the front air dam need to be cut/modified using the draw tite front mount hinge? Also are there any things i would need to know if putting on a 2005 four wheel drive Ranger XLT? Are there any special things I should know?

I checked with my contact at Curt and they said that the Curt front-Mount Hitch, part # C31063 does require some trimming to install on your Ranger XLT.
