Question:

Hello, I want a front hitchinch for my 2011 2500HD Chevy Silverado. I have been told that the truck requires a specific type for an easy install? I just want to use for carrying a few hundred lbs on a cargo rack. I have a truck camper and pull an ATV on the back. Please provide some options. Thank you,

The most popular front hitch we offer for your 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500HD is the Curt hitch part # C31023. Tech tips for this hitch are that the tow loops will need to be removed and reattached for hitch installation. Front bumper bolts will also be removed and reinstalled. Since this has more reviews than the other hitch we offer for your vehicle and they are higher as well I would recommend this hitch for you.

For a cargo carrier I would go with a folding one with a mesh floor (to allow air flow when folded up), like the part # C18151.
