Can Trailer Tires be Balanced for a Winnebago Minnie Travel Trailer
Updated 03/07/2016 | Published 03/05/2016 >
Question:
Want to buy 4 of these for my Winnebago Minnie. Can you balance them?
asked by: John
Expert Reply:
Usually, trailer tires are not balanced with weights like car tires because if the trailer weight changes the change in weight can cause the weights to vibrate off. So what trailer tire and wheel manufacturers will do is line up the heavy spot in the wheel with the light spot on the tire to achieve some balancing.
We lack the equipment to balance tires here so if you want them to be balanced further you can have a local tire shop balance them for a nominal fee.
