Ive found in my search that overall product width is 45in, and I have noted that it will fit a dodge sprinter with 41in wide rails. My question, is what exactly is the width between the 2 mounting brackets inside

I spoke with Draw-Tite to verify what I know about trailer hitch # 75210. The spacing between the side mounting brackets is 44-1/8 inches. This is a custom fit hitch meaning it was designed to fit only certain vehicles. Specifically it fits 2003 to 2006 Sprinter vans with 140 or 158 inch wheelbase and either single or dual rear wheels. If that is what you have then this hitch will fit.
