Question:
Im really having a hard time deciding between Reese dual cam WD and sway control vs equalizer. The rv place im buying the trailer from is pushing equalizer and I like that they are made in America. But I also see a lot of people saying dual cam is really great also. 2015 f150 towing a 7200 lb 31 ft Jayco trailer. thx for any help

Based on performance and design I prefer the Dual Cam Reese Strait Line setups. Either system will work great though as they are both considered the two best options, but I like that the Dual Cam setup as it works to keep the trailer in a straight line behind the trailer... which makes it a proactive sway control. Whereas the Equalizer systems is a reactive sway control in that it works to minimize it once it occurs.
For your trailer that weighs 7,200 lbs the Strait Line System part # RP66074 would be a great option as it has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs. Your tongue weight also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle but your tongue weight should fall perfectly in the middle of this range. I attached an install video for this system as well.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
