Question:
Is this compatible with Blue Ox tow bars? Tow bar not purchased yet, but leaning toward Aventa LX. Also, do you have adjustable drop receivers that have a greater than 6-inch ? Ill likely need at least that much height difference in unloaded MH to base plate tabs is about 10 inches, but I expect it to settle a good bit when fueled, watered, and loaded. Thanks!

It sounds like you want to use the Curt # D900 adjustable ball mount in place of a high/low adapter. I spoke to my contact at Curt and he said that as long as you stay within the 10,000lbs capacity of the adjustable ball mount than the # D900 will work for your tow bar.
The Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 is a great tow bar and includes safety cables already. Also the Blue Ox custom base plate kit for your 2009 Honda Odyssey is # BX2251.
Some items you will need to complete your towing setup are:
a Wiring Kit for your Odyssey # RM-15267
a Braking system like # SM99251
When installing the braking system on your 2009 Odyssey the brake light switch wire should be white/black.
I have linked all the above parts to this page for your convenience as well as a few help articles on towing.
