Question:
I was told by Yakima that the new Skyline towers will work on my vehicle with the factory rails. Is that true? What landing pads will I need to order?

Expert Reply:
The Yakima SkyLine roof rack towers, # Y53TR, do indeed fit your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the factory flush side rails with fixed mounting points. For installation you will also need Landing Pad 18, # Y00244.
There are 3 bar styles you can use with this roof rack. The SkyLine feet come with components to attach the Corebars # Y00422 or the Jetstream bars # Y00426.
You can also use round bars # Y00409 but will need adapter # Y03536, sold separately.
