027-005-00 how thick of steel can this slide on to? Can it go on a piece 3/8inch thick? Or would you have a diffent style that would?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with a co-worker who has used clip # 027-005-00 and he recommends attaching it to metal no thicker than 1/4 inch but that it might work with 3/8 inch thick metal. A better option would be # 464600 since it is a little larger and meant for this application more than the other clip.
Another option is to use a loom clamp such as # A0250. I have included a link to a video review featuring this clamp for you.
