Recommended Suspension System For 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 With 2 Inch Lift

Updated 02/29/2016 | Published 02/27/2016

Question:

I have a 2 inch shackle in the rear of my 2500. I want to add a bump stop kit to rear but need to know clearance from axle to top of stop mount. They have spaces for lifts, but with a small , and the towing I do 5,000 lbs. I need a good stop to help the load and body roll. What stop do you recommend, I also need front stop as the cheep factory are worn out.

When installing a suspension enhancement kit like part # TDR2500CA on the rear of your truck you need between 1/2 to 1-1/2 inches gap between the spring and the contact point on the axle. There are two 1-inch spacers included with the # TDR2500CA if needed. If additional spacers are needed you can use part # A25723-90AH00. These are sold separately.

For your 2-wheel drive the front suspension system you need is part # TDDF974A.

The suspension enhancement system you came from, part # T94VR, is designed to work with service vehicles only, like tow trucks and will not work with your pickup truck.
