Question:
Hello, Can you tell me the crank to mount measurement? Is there a top crank version of this jack? Is there a warranty? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The measurement of the jack you asked about # TJDP-7000S-B measures from crank to center of the pipe mount is 8-1/2 inches. The lift capacity of this jack is 7,000lbs and static support capacity is 8,000lbs. When using jacks like these, you are typically, only lifting the tongue weight (which is 10-15 percent of your total trailer weight) of the trailer so the higher rated ones will allow the jack's gears to work without strain.
For a very similar top crank direct weld-on jack the etrailer jack # TJD-7000 will give you the 7K weight capacity as well as 15-1/4 inches of travel.
I was also able to find out that both of these jacks will have a 1 year limited warranty.
