What Tire Pressure Should Trailer Tires be Inflated to

Question:

If I have a trailer that weighs 1800 #fully loaded d I still need t run at full 50 psi ?

Expert Reply:

Yes, you will always want to have your tire pressure inflated to the max rating that is listed on it's sidewall. ST trailer tires are designed to be run at their max PSI at all times. Failure to do this will reduce the overall capacity of the tire and can cause excess heat build up.
