Can the Lets Go Aero Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin be Used with Tow Bar
Updated 02/15/2016 | Published 02/13/2016 >
Question:
Would this be safe to use on an RV to pull a 4000 pound jeep behind. My present pin is grade 8 steel but it has wobbled so long that the hole has elongated a bit. Would this be of that grade and would I have to redrill a precise diameter hole?

The Let's Go Aero Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin # SHP2061 that you referenced will work well for your with your tow bar to flat tow your Jeep. Your tow bar will need to have a hollow shank in order for the anti-rattle pin to work properly. I have attached a review video of this hitch pin for you.
The # SHP2061 will work great to tow the weight of your Jeep. The hitch pin is designed to work with all Class III towing applications and has a weight capacity that exceeds the weight of your vehicle.
You will not want to drill a new hole in your trailer hitch. Drilling a hole in the hitch can compromise the integrity of the hitch. If the hitch pin hole has significantly elongated, you will want to have the hitch inspected by a professional.
