Fit of Surco Safari 5.0 Roof Cargo Basket on Roof Rails of 2016 Toyota 4Runner

Question:
Will this rack fit a 2016 Toyota 4Runner SR5? I have the factory rack but no crossbars. Are those necessary?

The Surco # SPS5060-1101 Safari Roof Rack which includes the SPS5060 basket and the 1101 clamp kit is will fit perfectly on the raised side rails on your 2016 4Runner. You DO NOT need crossbars in order to fit the rack to your vehicle. The clamp kit allows the basket to attach to the side rails.
