Question:

i have an older caravan trailer95and the axle sits under the spring will the bend in this axle hinder the performance due to it needing to be put on with the bend facing down.

The bend in the axle needs to be installed pointing upward, not down. If the axle is installed with the bend going toward the ground instead of toward the underside of the trailer, it will cause the camber of the wheels to be wrong.

Since your springs touch the top of the axle instead of the bottom, you will want to have new spring seats welded to the top of the axle.

For an axle with a 1-3/4 inch diameter like # 20545I-EZ-72-10 that you referenced, you will want a spring seat designed for 1-3/4 inch diameter axles, like # TRSS175.
