so i just got your pintle hook and ball combination #c48200 my truck and need a 3 3/8 adapter that is the size of the home made one that was on the truck. will yours do the trick or do i need to make my own?

The pintle mount we offer that is designed to fit the largest hitch opening is the part # RP38186 which is designed for a 3 inch trailer hitch opening. You might measure your hitch again to see if it is a 3 inch hitch otherwise this would be a bit loose in the hitch.
