Why Are 4 Wires Attached To Bargman Side Marker Light On 1993 Play Mor RV

Question:

I have a 1993 Play Mor RV with this light with 4 wires 2 white and 2Green Can I get this light? Why 4 wires vs 2 wire? Can you explain the 4 wire vs 2 wire thing to me? Thanks

I pulled a Bargman 99 Series Trailer Clearance, Side Marker Light, part # 3499001 from our warehouse to check out the wiring for you. There are only 2 wires needed for this marker light. One would be used for the ground and one for the power.

Since you said you have 4 wires, the additional green wire and white wire are most likely run to another light on your RV. You might check out your other side marker light and see if it is connected to the light that has 4 wires.
