Will the Kuat NV Fit and Clear Rear Spare of a 2015 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler with a rear mounted spare tire. Ive checked the dimensions on your site and Im thinking that the bike rack wont fold up on the Jeep, based on the distance from the hitch hole. I measured my spare, and it appears to be about 10inch wide plus or minus 1/4/ Suggestions? Comments? Do you have anyone who has reported this hitch working with a similar vehicle? thanks!

The clearance needed for the NV # NV22G measures 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest part of carrier when in down position and 7-7/8 inches when it is folded up. To determine whether this bike rack will work on your vehicles, you will need to take a measurement on each.

Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to a point just past the spare tire, or any other obstruction you will need to clear. If these measurements are less than the clearance needed for the bike rack, then the NV would work well on your vehicles. For most wranglers this distance would be pretty close to what the NV would fit.
