Recommended Space Between Upper and Lower Bracket of Firestone Ride Rite kit F2250

Question:
How much space is recommended between the top and bottom brackets when not loaded? I have a 2500HD with 5inch blocks on both the leaf and the air bags. I currently have 5 1/2inch spacing between the top and bottom bracket with 5 psi in the bags.

The dimension you have should be just fine. The air bag of the # F2250 is designed for a distance of 5.50 to 6.50 inches between the upper and lower mounting brackets.
