Question:
I looking at getting a front mount receiver hitch # C31023 mounted on the front of my 2013 GMC Sierra 2500hd pickup. I beleive that the hitch will be to high to haul my 2 bikes and was wondering if I could install a Roadmaster high-low adaptor # RM-048-8 to lower the opening of the hitch? I beleive the weight of my carrier and both bikes will be approximately 75 lbs. Thanks in advanced for your prompt response

You can use a high low adapter like part # RM-048-8 to lower the hitch opening but you should note that it will lower the capacity of the hitch by 50 percent.
I attached a picture of the Curt Hitch part # C31023 installed and you can see it sits a bit closer to the ground. This might be your best option since it wouldn't require the use of the high low adapter.
