Flat Towing 2005 Ford Focus With Tow Dolly
Published 11/06/2015 >
Question:
What gear should the car be put in after placing it on the tow dolly, 2005 focus, automatic transmission. Ive heard leaving it park is alright, although I have been placing in in neutral. When placed in park the key can be removed, when in neutral the key cannot be removed. What is the recommended to towing speed. Thanks for your help.

You'll want to have the vehicle's transmission in park so the vehicle cannot move around on the dolly and so the steering is locked. You'll also be able to remove the key, as you said. There is no speed recommendation, other than the posted speed limit. I've confirmed this with Roadmaster.
