Question:
This trailer is dual axle and runs a tire size ST 205/75 D14. I am loading a toyota pickup along with other hunting items and 1/2 cord of wood. We are traveling 900 miles on a hunting trip. Im figuring we will be about 7,500 pounds of cargo. Is this going to be too much weight?

Expert Reply:
Based on the 7,500 lb total weight of your trailer that you listed you would need trailer tires that have a 1,875 lb capacity per tire. The part # AM1ST86 has a 1,7600 lb capacity so it would not be enough.
Instead, you would want the # AM10235 which has a 2,040 lbs at 65 psi capacity which would give you a total tire capacity of 8,160 lbs of tire capacity. You should note that trailer tires have to be inflated to their max psi to get the full capacity.
