Orientation of the Shackles When Using Straight Equalizer on Trailer Suspension

Is this an acceptable method for attaching springs? One spring on top and one below Thanks..

You would want the shackle straps of your trailer suspension to be both pointing the same direction. The would need to be pointed up on the straight equalizer part # TREQR83. I attached a picture that shows how the straps should orientate with the equalizer.
Having one up and one down would mean that the equalizer would be angled and wouldn't be installed correctly. Sometimes the shackles can flip themselves up like this, but the equalizer wouldn't want to function properly and most likely the shackle would end up flipping over to the top of it or binding up/putting undue stress on the leaf spring/shackle/equalizer.
