We do offer custom-fit T-connector 4-pole wiring harnesses for your 1997 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup. You can use the Curt part # C55312, which will plug in without any cutting or splicing of wires to the connector located beneath your vehicle, along the driver's-side frame rail.
Be sure to solidly attach the white ground wire's ring terminal to a clean bare metal surface on the truck. A proper ground is essential for correct operation of a wiring harness.
