Question:
I have a 1999 Ram 1500 Club Cab 2WD 2 door. It has a 6 foot bed and DOES NOT have the bumper but just the normal one. Everything says this bolts right up but can you tell me if it interferes with the spare tire that mounts under the bed and if so can it be modified or does it have to be moved?

The Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75101 will not interfere with your spare tire. I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite and she confirmed that there is no interference. The installation instructions for the # 75101 trailer hitch are linked for you.
This hitch is confirmed to fit a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 with a standard or a step bumper, and will install in the pre-drilled frame holes on your vehicle. Our installation notes indicate that it will not fit trucks with a roll pan bumper.
If you need a hitch ball and ball mount to tow, I recommend our Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit includes a ball mount with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop, a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise or a 4 inch drop, a 1-7/8 inch diameter hitch ball, and a 2 inch diameter hitch ball. If these rise/drop measurements won't work for your trailer, I have attached a link to all of our ball mounts for you.
