Is Trimming Required to Install a Front Hitch on a 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 2500
Updated 09/09/2015 | Published 09/07/2015 >
Question:
The front of my Denali is quite low because I have the off road suspension. If the Air Dam or the fascia has to be trimmed i have no problems. In fact i would welcome it. Michael Hs discussion is confusing to me. Will i have to trim or not? Thanks,

You didn't say what was confusing so to elaborate Curt, the manufacturer of front mount receiver # C31071, says that trimming of the front air dam may be required on the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali. The trimming will need to be around where the receiver will be so it fits properly. You could also just take the air dam off if you wanted to.
It did not have to be trimmed on the 3500 in the video I have linked but that truck is not a Denali model. But if it were then that air dam could be low enough to block the receiver tube. I also included a picture showing it more close up.
