Is the Yakima bar rated per bar at 165 lbs. ?

A pair of Yakima crossbars (so 2 of # Y8810025) would be rated for 165 pounds with the load evenly distributed. Most vehicles do not have a roof rack or roof capacity rated this high but some do. You would need to check the vehicle owners manual and/or with the vehicle manufacturer for the roof weight carrying capacity prior to loading.
