Which Yakima Roof Rack System For 2021 Toyota Tacoma and Shell

Question:

I have a 2021Toyota Tacoma Double Cab short bed with a naked roof and hard shell over the short bed. I need to put one set of towers with bar on the truck cab and 2 sets of towers with bars on the shell. I do have two Yakima round bars I could use with this system. What can you suggest for my roof rack needs?

To mount one crossbar to your 2021 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab I recommend the Base Line Towers # Y28TR, Round 48" Crossbar # Y8810021, Round Bar Adapter # Y03536, and Base Clip Fit Kit # Y06128 if you are mounting the crossbar on the rear of the vehicle, or Base Clip Fit Kit # Y06145 if you are mounting the crossbar on the front of the vehicle.


For your shell you can use your existing Yakima Round Crossbars or Round 48" CrossBars for Yakima Roof Rack System # Y00408. In addition you will need Yakima 42" Tracks for Roof Racks # Y01126, Two sets of the Landing Pad 1 for Yakima Control Towers # Y00221, SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y53TR, and RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine Towers # Y03536.
