Question:

I currently have a Titan 6 ball coupler just like Titan T4747220. I am not happy with the performance of the ball style coupler/hitch receiver combination and after a particularly scary pop-off from my trailer/hitch luckily at slow speeds I am interested in switching over to a pintle mount/lunette combination. Would I need to replace the entire actuator to Titan T4748000. Or is it possible to simply purchase the lunette coupler shaft part and replace my ball coupler on my current set up?

My contact at Titan confirmed that you CAN change out just the inner portion of your Titan actuator ball coupler # T4747220 to convert it to a lunette ring type like # T4748000. The conversion kit you need is part # T4045600183, their Replacement Inner Slide Assembly with 3-Inch Lunette Ring for Titan Model 6 Actuator.
