Question:

I HAVE A 01 f250SD and want a hitch that comes out of the bumper. I have read that all F250s from 2000 and on have the blocker bar What hitch options do you recommend?

Not all of the 2000's F-250's have the blocker beam.

If your front end has the blocker beam behind the front bumper and the leaf springs mounted on the inside of the frame rails then you would use the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, item # C31014, which will allow you to retain your factory fog lights.

If your truck does not have a blocker beam installed and the springs are mounted underneath the frame, from the factory then you could use the Draw-Tite Front Mounted Trailer Hitch Receiver, item # 65022, but with this configuration the factory fog lights must be removed.

I attached an install video and picture that shows the hitch coming through the front of the bumper.
