Replacement Air Bag for Trail Air Flex Air Replacement Pin Box # LC328492

Updated 08/18/2015 | Published 08/17/2015

Question:

Hi, I bought a new KZ Durango Gold 5th wheel and it came with a Rota-Flex pin box. I had the dealer install a new Flex Air pin box, LO5, and it became deflated in the first 30 miles. I wish to obtain an extra air bag. I think the correct replacement air bag part number is 432404, yet not sure. Any other thoughts about this deflation.

The Trail Air L05 is a replacement for the Lippert 1621 pin box. Per my Lippert representative, the # LC432404 is the correct replacement air bag for your Trail Air Flex Air pin box. According to Lippert, the most common reasons why your air bag isn't holding pressure would be a hole in the bag, a faulty Schrader valve or an improperly installed connection between the valve and the air bag.

To determine where the leak is, take some liquid dishwashing liquid and dilute it a bit with water. Use a small brush to apply it to the Schrader valve and the junction between the valve and the air bag. The escaping air will cause the detergent to bubble, making the leak easy to identify.
