Trailer Hitch For 2015 Subaru Forester
Published 08/13/2015 >
Question:
I am wanting to install a hitch and bike rack on my 2015 Subaru Forester. Do you offer a hitch that meets the following requirement from Subaru so I dont void my warranty: If the hitch is not a Subaru approved accessory then any damage that may occur from having an after-market part installed would not be covered under your vehicle warranty. The towing weight maximum is 1,500 lbs.

Helpful Expert Reply:
All of our trailer hitches are aftermarket hitches. We do not carry any Subaru OEM hitches.
Consumers of aftermarket vehicle accessories are protected under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This Act protects consumers of aftermarket vehicle accessories against unfair denial of warranty coverage unless the automaker can prove that the accessory in question caused the problem.
If you're looking for an aftermarket trailer hitch for your Subaru, I recommend the Draw-Tite # 75876. I have attached an installation video of this hitch on a 2015 Forester for you.
